The Pat White family has decided to sell the family home in Alva on Apache Drive. This home has only had two owners and has been lovingly maintained since it was one of the better built homes by Robert R. Brown in 1964. The property has a large dining area, an updated kitchen with nearly new range and cabinets. It has a large living room area with a side office that includes a built-in desk. A large utility and storage room area and a full Master Suite is on the Ground floor which will provide plenty of space for a family. The finished basement consists of two very large bedrooms, with huge closets, a full bathroom and a comfortable communal space perfect for games, homework and other activities. This basement has never leaked water! The White family had always planned to build a new home closer to the golf course, but in 1997 decided they loved this house too much to leave it, so they added the "East Wing." This is a 300 square foot addition to the walk out basement that provides a small indoor workshop, extra closet space and a beautiful large living area with vaulted ceilings, a wall of Anderson windows that floods the room with natural light, a gas fireplace, tons of storage in oak cabinets and a wet bar. This addition creates a finished walk-out basement with 1221 square feet of finished living area, or a combined living area of 3,085 square feet for both levels! There is a sliding door that leads out to the patio, overlooking the canyon and is perfect for grilling as you watch the kids or grandkids play in the large back yard. ** Central Heat and Air Unit replaced by Goodrich heating and Air in 2018**
